I added a bunch of people and communities to my friends. They are all Providence related because I want to get a feel for the city and the people who live in it. So if you are one of those people or communities, hello! I don't know how people normally do this but you're welcome to ask me a question, any question, and I will answer. Last night I was finding it hard to stay interested in anything. Usually I am easily amused but occasionally all of my projects frustrate me and I just want to watch TV. But then TV bored me. I am almost 1/4 done with my afgan. If I had a camera I would show you, but I'm making it astroturf green with multicolored crocheted flowers. (Dan says I should crochet a dog turd for it too - very funny, Dan). (But I just might).

My first entry. I have been reading online journals forever and had one over at blogspot, but since I am moving soon, I figured I would start a new page so to speak, and get a new journal for my new life.

My birthday was a few days ago. The big 28. Now I am definitely in my late 20s. No big deal. I feel good that my life is about to change. I spent my birthday with Dan and it was nice, but kind of hard since our relationship is slowly dissolving. I don't really know what to think. It's too late to start something new but it's going to be hard to ride it out with him. He is acting very weird about our "status".

Sorry, I feel like I'm babbling already. I want this journal to be interesting to read like my favorite journals are. I like knitting blogs, blogs with inspiring stuff, but I like ones that are a bit personal as well. Hopefully this'll be somewhere in there. Hopefully I'll eventually have some friends who will comment on my stuff too. I was defintely lacking that over at blogspot and that seems to be the way things work in live journal.

Also one day I WILL get a digicam so I can post pics of my creations. Maybe even sell them online. Now that would be cool.
